Bristol Canine Hydrotherapy Centre is the only canine hydrotherapy centre in Bristol, we originally opened in Hanham in 2006.
We are registered with the National Association of Registered Canine Hydrotherapists (NARCH) which means that we operate to very high standards and the majority of insurance companies will be happy to pay for hydrotherapy treatments. The level of cover will depend on your policy.
What is Canine Hydrotherapy?
Canine hydrotherapy is directed at the treatment of chronic conditions, post operative recovery, pre operative and general fitness and weight loss in dogs. Hydrotherapy allows dogs to increase the range of movement in their legs, strengthen muscles and reduce pain.

Facilities
Our heated pool is 4m x 2m (13′ x 6′ 5″) We are able to swim all dogs large and small.
The water is heated to 28-30ºc and tested regularly each day to maintain the correct chlorine, pH and alkalinity levels.
Our staff are in the pool with your dog to support them and ensure they are getting the maximum benefit.
All dogs wear a buoyancy jacket or harness whilst in the pool for their safety.
Most dogs can use the gentle, purpose built access ramp to get in and out of the pool.
Dogs are showered and dried after their session, we recommend that dogs are kept warm after their swim.
Treatments & Prices
Each session is individually tailored to each dog depending on their condition and the aims we are trying to achieve.
Single treatment £65
Course of 10 treatments £650 and get the 11th session free
(payable in advance)
Hydrotherapy sessions usually last half an hour with a maximum swim time of 20 minutes. The length of a session will however vary according to your dog’s condition, needs and ability.
The price of treatment does not alter according to the length of treatment.
